Coconut Macaroons
- 3 large egg whites
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 package ( 14 ozs ) sweetened flaked coconut
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. If you are using Silpat mats, that is all you need, if not, line the baking sheet with parchment or coat with nonstick spray.
- In a large bowl beat egg whites, sugar and salt until frothy. Stir in coconut until moistened.
- Drop by tablespoons onto sheet and bake 25-30 minutes. They will be lightly browned.
