Mexican Hot Chocolate Balls
- 1 cup butter
- 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp banilla
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 cup toasted pecans, finely chopped
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees
- Beat butter until fluffy.
- Add 1/2 cup of the powdered sugar,1/4 cup of the cocoa powder and vanilla, mix until combined
- Add cinnamon, pecans and flour
- Mix until it forms a dough.
- Shape into 1 inch balls and bake for 20 minutes or until bottoms are light brown
- Cool completely
- Combine remaining 3/4 cup powdered sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa powder and roll the cookies in the mixture
